A Celebration of Inclusion: The Success of the Guerreros de Corazón Category

With unforgettable moments filled with joy, the Guerreros de Corazón category came to a heartwarming close during the 12th Edition of the Santos Peñoles International Cup. Over five incredible days at Territorio Santos Modelo, this special category showcased the passion, dedication, and sportsmanship of all involved.

A total of 14 teams participated, made up of children and young athletes with intellectual disabilities, who gave their absolute best on the field while fostering a true spirit of camaraderie.

Throughout these exciting days, the players had the unique opportunity to enjoy the world-class facilities of Club Santos Laguna, where they also interacted with the club’s professional players.

The tournament concluded on Wednesday with a special awards ceremony, where every participating team received a trophy, recognizing their outstanding performance and exceptional attitude on and off the field.

This edition of Guerreros de Corazón delivered a powerful message: Inclusion is the true champion of this tournament.
